Winter in Fairfax - igloo and more

Winter in Fairfax can be sometimes hm.. tough.  Old power lines, no snow plows and crowded roads have a combined affect with 6 or more inches of snow.  We learnt the very first winter when we moved here (from Atlanta) to enjoy the snow and now worry about the power outage but just build something.  Here are the proof of all those efforts.

First snow man when we did not have power for one day

More snowmen were needed as power failure continued for two days.

Why not build an igloo if power is going to be off for 4 days!

Snow returned to a level enough but no power outage Viola!, it is still a good idea to build an igloo.

We had only 14" of snow, enough to make a igloo where even Rajiv was found one evening sleeping in there! It was warmer inside the igloo than outside.

Fairfax residents, enjoy your Fairfax home with us.  Others, come to visit and join the fun!
